Pumpkin Ale
Being from and living in New England nothing says autumn like pumpkins. They are every where, on front steps, in the fields, in your bread and best of all, in your beer. The style of pumpkin beer ranges from lager to stout (with practically everything in between) and from heavy pumpkin pie spice to no spice and pumpkin only. Personally, I prefer a pumpkin ale with some spice and some pumpkin. Have you ever eaten just a pumpkin? Probably not because it's kind of bland. Ever eaten just cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and mace? Yeah, over kill. That's why pumpkin pie is a little slice of culinary heaven. Savory and sweet joining in harmony. I like to keep my homebrew simple and reasonably priced so I tend to use extract kits from homebrew suppliers Midwest or Northernbrewer. For my pumpkin ale I used Midwest and I roasted 9 pounds of sugar pumpkin at 375 degrees and then steeped this for 1 hour at 155 degrees before adding the specialty grains. Mahal, I went out the past 2 days, with Mhe-ann, Zayrah and last night, with Kathy and Don. I always go home either drunk or super tired so that I won’t end up crying. Zay, Mhe and I watched New Moon yesterday… we’ve been waiting for that movie and said that you’re not here to watch it. It’s been 5-6 years since I’ve watched a movie with my friends… it was an odd feeling… I was happy to watch it with them but there’s a twig of pain knowing that you’ll never be able to watch a movie with me… ever… I’ve been very lonely since you’re gone. I don’t think I can make it. You said, if you die first, you’ll take me with you because you know that I can’t live on my own… then why am I still alive? I guess, I know the answer… you still want me to have a future… to experience the dreams you’ve had for me. Honestly, I am having such a rough time. I’m currently on LOA because, I just can’t work. Me case (en el Ragnarok Online xD).
Hace exactamente dos dias me case con Hikary Ai Belmont en el Ragnarok Online, no tengo mucho que decir sobre esto realmente, a Kosso le bajaron la palanca del internet, a Soma tambien, Farfan y Duo fueron los unicos que quedaron como testigos pero que demonios, nos casamos y ya xD. Gracias a Duo y Farfan por estar presentes en nuestra boda, y al server Limit RO.

Short Week
Grandparents Day was a huge success! "Guess Who" projects, turkeys, and Penmanship papers were on display, and our classroom bulletin board with the grandparent puzzle pieces was the perfect backdrop for our photos. They all turned out great, and tomorrow we will work on short thank you notes to all the grandparents who attended. A picture of each with their grandchild will be included. If you could send in a postage stamp for each set of grandparents so we could send out the pictures, it would really be appreciated! The students worked so hard on our grandparent song! I think they all enjoyed it, and the kids certainly loved singing it! I loved hearing all the things they do with their grandparents. It was a fun morning for everyone! The Book Fair had an extremely successful day as well. Tomorrow we will also be working on Advent Wreaths, since Advent starts while we are on Thanksgiving break.
